Can you save files to a Flashdrive or memory stick?

I'm taking my Seestar on vacation and I don't want it to get filled up with images. Im not taking a computer ... so is there some kind of flashdrive or memory stick I can plug into my Iphone and then using the Seastar app, transfer the Fits files from Seastar to the flash drive or memory stick. Yes, you can use an external storage device that is compatible with your iPhone to transfer the FITS files from Seestar without needing a computer.

Choose the Right Storage Device
You will need an external storage device that supports iPhone (via Lightning or USB-C) and is compatible with iOS. Some options include:
SanDisk iXpand Flash Drive (for Lightning port)
SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive (for USB-C, suitable for iPhone 15)
Other USB flash drives that are compatible with iOS
Download the FITS files from Seestar to your iPhone's local storage (either in the Photos app or Files app).
Plug the USB drive into your iPhone.
Open the Files app on your iPhone, locate the downloaded FITS files, and move or copy them to the external storage device.
Note:
iOS might not preview FITS files, but you can still store and transfer them.
Some external drives may require their own apps for management.

Support@Seestar Consided adding this to the tutorial section, and of course add the relevant options for Android. Tons of users will be happy to know that this option exists even if it isn't directly a Seestar feature.

It would be too much to imagine being able to connect an external disk to the USB-C port of the seestar in a future FW upgrade ?

Generally we have enough memory to export in a timely manner. Of course, if you don't need to post-process the image, turning off single save requires even less memory.

Support@Seestar I do a lot of post processing and I like to backup everything on external usb drives, so for me what I asked would be very useful.

I understand, but there are more ways than there are difficulties. You can try it yourself.

This is a reasonable . While travelling for a few weeks without my laptop, the storage on the seestar was completely filled. I tried to copy from the Seestar to my iCloud drive via my iPhone but it was too slow and cumbersome (iPhone is the issue, not the Seestar).

If I could simply bring a small USB drive with a large amount of storage and copy from the Seestar , then format the Seestar drive, it would be quite useful.

But low priority.
