@support@Seestar The EQ mode release seems to have altered the focusing control for the worse. We are still waiting for the option to switch off autofocus which is getting more frustrating than ever, but now the focusing control that appeared on screen during autofocusing has disappeared so I can’t even monitor the focus number. I want to be able to manually focus from the start without having to wait while it goes through the entire process, only to have to stop it when it starts imaging to adjust it properly. It also appears that the manual adjustment has lost the ability to fine focus as well. Not sure why implementing software upgrades to improve performance in one area means downgrading basic features like focusing? People get used to how the product works and expect a software update to bring extra detail, but for some reason this update fiddled around with lots of parts that were working fine and now need put back to how they were, like the object database losing names, for example. I love my S50, but this change in focusing seems to have introduced unnecessary problems, please can this be looked at asap.
