Inconsistent Flats using longer duration exposures

I previously had zero problems producing consistent flats with Automatic exposure on the ASIair Plus, but now have to cull about 10 percent of them because they are vastly different (much darker) than the bulk of flats in the very same session.
I am using the ASI2600MC-Pro. My light source is an LED tracing pad. Telescope is Celestron EdgeHD 800.
ASIair app is the latest stable release version.
I tested with numerous flat sessions and found that if I greatly brighten the LED light source and bring the exposure down to a fraction of a second, I can get consistent flats. But my goal has always been flat exposures around 10 seconds.
Please advise.

What app/firmware version number were you on previously?

Has the issue only occurred after you updated your app/ firmware? What version number are you on now where this is occurring?

Are you using an Android or Apple device to run the ASIAIR App?

Corsair thanks so very much. I now think this wound may have been self-inflicted.

I now believe the culprit was having the LED tracing pad dimmed too low and I was intermittently capturing flicker from the light source. I will test with a stronger (12V vs 5V) LED tracing pad and run it at full power with however many layers of white T-shirt is required to adjust the exposure time to around 5 seconds or so.
