Seestar reset everytime I try to get polar deviation in EQ mode

My Seestar reset everytime when I try to get polar deviation in EQ mode. Anyone have the same problem and any solution please?

Can you clarify what you mean by "reset everytime" ?

When I pressed the button to get polar align deviation, S50 slewed a bit said "Seestar is reset", then all connection with iPad lost. Seestar then hanged up. I need to restart S50 by long press the power key and need to reconnect to ipad.

I finally figured out the reason. It is all my own fault. I used a Manfrotto 410 as wedge which has a large quick release plate. When S50 turned, the plate hit one of its rubber legs affecting the motion of S50, causing it to reset. After I removed the rubber legs (useless basically), the problem vanished.

The plate was likely hitting the little reset button, which resets the wifi connection. Perhaps those rubber feet cause the plate to slightly angle and hit it. But if the problem happens again you might need a spacer between plate and seestar to clear the reset button.

Bendak You are perfectly right. The plate does not have enough clearance and hit the reset button. I added a spacer and everything is fine now. Thank you.
