@flappah is onto a simple, software based solution for the ZWO team. Give ASIAIR users the ability to control power ports by schedule or within plan mode settings and they can use this to either power directly or trigger relays on other devices to do whatever they want. Flat panels, observatory roofs, whatever, could be operated this way.
For instance, if I want to automate flats using my wall mounted flat panel I could have a plan that points the scope to my flat panel (or park it there), turn on one of the 12V ports which would trigger my flat panel to come on, and then let the camera take my flats. At the end of the plan it could send the scope to the home position and turn off the power port which would, in turn, shut off my flat panel. I could even have it close my ROR roof. Seems like a pretty straight forward sort of software update to me.
