the DeepSkyDad flat panel seems very nice. i agree 100% that the ability to control DC outputs in Plan mode would be fantastic. Also, ZWO, PLEASE PLEASE focus on ASIAIR software for existing products before you introduce any new products. the DeepSkyDad seems to work well......all you need to do is allow automated control of DC power outputs in Plan mode and all would be great! (ie, no need for ZWO to make their own flat panel, just provide control of DC outputs in Air)

I was just looking for this discussion and was going to make the same request. I need the ability to open and close a flat panel using auto-run. I'm struggling to stay up late at night due to my work schedule which requires me to wake up early in the morning. I saw that both wanderastro and deepskydad offered flat panels but under further investigation discovered the limitation that you can't program when it opens and closes. Like ZRw1ge20 I may need to switch to NINA which I absolutely don't want to do because I really like the ease of use of my two asiairs. At a minimum can you add a turn on/off DC port control in autorun?

It's a shame to leave the ASIAIR only because of this missing feature...

Tech@ZWO can you add a limited feature where we can at least in auto-run have it turn off a dc port to allow the wanderastro and deepskydad flat panels to close the panel. This would allow me to sleep at night without having to wait for my auto-run to complete. Thanks!

@Tech@ZWO as @atan said, it would be incredibly useful to have the option to control power ports in both autorun and in plan mode. You guys now have the rotator in your product line. When you shoot different targets during the night you need to make flats for those rotations. It's really cumbersome having to lookup the different rotations and shoot flats afterwards. Now with the DeepSkyDad flat panels you can control the power ports. If it possible to control the power ports in plan mode (and in autorun) one can program a session of flats after the lights for each target.

Tech@ZWO Thanks! I'm prepping to setup my scope at a remote observatory so I'm deciding right now whether to shift over to NINA using a mini-pc or stick with ASIAIR. There are already hundreds of remote scopes at Starfront Observatory in Texas and I'm assuming the whole remote telescope movement will keep growing to the thousands over coming months and years. Is there any kind of timeline because I'm giving myself maybe two months before I go remote.

It would also be great if the "air" family of cameras would allow for control of the 12V ports instead of being always on (assuming this is not a design limitation of the hardware).

I want to add my voice for a nice red motorised flat panel, fully integrated into the software, now the camera rotator CCA has been released, this is the next thing on my wish list.
