Thanks for ZWO still developing the software/firmware even though the last update completely "ruined" my S30. The story is that my S30 has started using a light frame as a flat frame so the stacked image looks pretty weird. Unfortunately, it is not possible to control the flats you put into the S30 which makes it clear that there is a setting missing to avoid and use flats if it doesn't work. I have also had big problems getting the S30 to accept an attempt to make a flat with a white paper over the lens.

I have sent you a report with pictures via the Seestar app.

Hello @"Support@Seestar" is it possible to change seestar's app language? I would like to switch back from italian to english since the translation is not so friendly.
I also ask if is it possible to give a contribution to italian language translation.

Yep also have some issues with the "Refresh Deviation".
When performing the setup in EQ mode, the S30 does rotate to point the camera up to check alignment.
However when you press this "Refresh Deviation" button, the new angles are significantly off..

It looks like the S30 may take the angle sensor data without correcting for the offset from true "up", as the S30 doesn't seem to check with stars straight 'up'. Which makes sense if there isn't something usable up there of course.
However it seems like each night I try to setup the EQ orientation, it may take a slightly different angle which results in different offset when you press the Refresh Deviation button.
I've seen a 2nd offset of over 10 degree which cannot be correct.

TD-er Maybe you need to switch back to theodolite mode and redo the horizontal sensor calibration and compass calibration. Then redo the polar calibration to get the device pointing to north again. I will also report back and keep an eye on this issue，thank you.

Support@Seestar I have an S50. I get the same response to using that button. Values so far off as to be unbelievable. It is a definite bug.

I just got my S50 today and downloaded v2.5app, but I don’t see 60s as exposure time option. Only 10s,20s and 30s. I tried to turn off and on again, but still don’t see the 60s option.
Any suggestions?

Support@Seestar I took a flat frame successfully, but now I feel like the images I have taken since then have much more apparent color noise in them. This is using the same settings I was using before this update. I was in EQ mode taking 2 second shots. Since successfully taking a flat frame, the results I have been receiving as much more color noise in them than the previous ones. Is there a way to hard reset my telescope so it’s back to factory settings? Should I be concerned that my flat frames have induced color noise?

These color noises have nothing to do with flat frame. They are probably because the dark field is not processed properly. You can restart the device and perform image enhancement again.

Razz019 Support@Seestar Color noise is present in your previous images as well though it may not be visible depending on how much you stretch the background. With better corrected images the background becomes more even so you can stretch it more bringing it closer to the limit. The solution usually is to shoot more data. Which targets do you image and how much time do you collect data for?

Hello, am having repeated issues with red coloured images, which is usually accompanied by extreme polar alignment deviation issues and star trails even when polar alignment says it is at less than 0.3 on both axis. This can be corrected by repeated rebooting o the unit (tonight it took 4 full power offs and power ons). My S30 does not exhibit these problems. Here is a screenshot of the issue.

w79J4STM You need to switch to the equatorial mount mode to understand the 60s exposure and make a selection.

60 second exposures are only available in EQ mode, are you in EQ mode? Otherwise, you will not see the option for 60 second exposures.
