marci you did not understand me. When I said everything, I meant EVERYTHING! I tried versions of asiair all the way back to 2.1. and I also tried versions that are still not publiced. I found them on a server that zwo has to distribute to testers. I tried 2.4 3 weeks before it was announced. I tested with or without counterweight, tested 4 different power supplies, different power supply for the camera and different for the mount, tried usb, Bluetooth and wifi connections, tried 4 different belt tension settings. I even tried rotating the RA 2 full rotations and then image and this worked for 45min before the jumps started again. The only thing I didn't try is use PHD2, as I didn't know yet how to discover my 2600mc air in alpaca, but there are others who used only PHD2 with AM5N and had the same problem. Andreas, thought to change the RA harmonic drive with the DEC drive and this works for him and now uses the mount but 1. You have a faulty drive on DEC now and 2. You break warranty by doing that... 50 hours of testing... You should really just search for your nearest service center and contact them, to save time. Zwo knows the problem now (without acknowledging it public) and probably works to solve it as it is a major issue. So by the time your mount goes for service, they probably will have a solution.
