I've been experiencing a persistent issue with my ZWO AM3 mount. Initially, the mount worked flawlessly for the first two sessions. However, after that, the problem emerged and now occurs every single time. After every automatic meridian flip, tracking completely stops, even though the ASIAir app indicates that tracking is active. Stars drift immediately after the flip, and neither restarting tracking via the app nor disconnecting and reconnecting the mount fixes this issue. This behavior persists even thourg a complete power cycle of the setup. The effect is the same in "Plan" or "Autorun". I also tried a complete factory reset auf the ASIAir without luck.
I've spent the past three months troubleshooting. Its quite frustrating owning such an expensive piece of I gear I can't use or seems broken. The retailer suggested testing the mount with a computer/software other than ASIAir. Unfortunately, I've been struggling for the past month with NINA, which, although described as the simplest alternative, is significantly more complex than ASIAir.
I've attached a log file demonstrating the issue. It's a bit older, but the behaviour is the same with the latest updates.
