CFH I brought this up more than once in the beta and it was ignored. The new object list is atrociously bad and difficult to use and has broken filtering. I suspect the bugs I mentioned the last day before release were not fixed. ZWO really jumped the gun on this one.

The image next to the graph is way too small. It Could be the same height of graph. The text for degrees is huge . The mountain graph is way too wide. I want to scroll and see targets quickly.

Dear ZWO I have had exactly 3 clear nights to use “your” equipment in the last 3 months in New Hampshire USA. You “forced me to update the asi version on all my devices. Absolutely nothing was able to plate solve after a PA of 7 arc seconds.. now 10 more days of clouds. You need to do more qa of your releases. A week ago in cloudy skies I at least tried to get a few shots because I was desperate to do something….
DONT CARE IF IM BLOCKED, YOUR UPDATES HAVE RUINED MY SUMMER. CANCELLING MY ORDERS FOR ASI585AIR, YOU CANT EVEN GET YOUR ASI SOFTWARE TO WORK.

All sky polar alignment fails. Looks like it is doing polar alignment in bin2, can’t change it to bin1. How do i resolve this?

plate solve worked for me when i unchecked the 'New Plate Solve'. But is it the right way or the right direction?
totally agree with @R0k9pZfT that you keep the previous stable version available for use always. troubleshooting all this in rare clear nights is very frustrating. Please address this with having the option to keep the last stable release on mobile devices.

ZWO, please make 2.3.3 available for us on your website. Fortunately I I stopped one tablet and my phone from upgrading, but not everybody here is so lucky. And don't jump so fast on these upgrades! Continue to pay attention to people's reports in the beta chats. For people who don't want to test beta, which is what you're doing to them now, at least you could have two parallel releases that we could choose to run if we opt to download from your website. At a bare minimum, consider doing that now and in the future. Please don't ignore these posts.

I suggest keeping 2.3.3 as a stable release, then post 2.4 as your development release until it reaches stable and you move on to 2.5. Then 2.4.x can hopefully be the stable tried and true release.

Not fixed. 2.4 tried to do a meridian flip tonight 2 hours away from the meridian. This issue is a 3 alarm fire that really needs to be fixed.

Please add support to the canon r8. Many people have been waiting for the canon r8 to be supported but now have gone to different software and sold your products (and soon without an update I will too due to a lack of support for this camera.) thank you

It updated automatically. It works smoothly, and there are some interesting improvements to the celestial map.
The changes to the main interface are a bit confusing at first, but they provide improved information.

I've noticed a slight improvement in the Wi-Fi transfer rate.

Yesterday I upgraded to 2.4 version (Firmware 12.29).

I totallay agreed with 6h3g399i and azskyguy.
The PA (Polar Aligment) is not work on my side too.
On the PA I can't change from "Bin2" to other Bin.
Another problem on PA is the maximum exposure time is 3 sec only.
On previous firmware On the PA maximum exposure time was 10 sec.
Sometimes the sky is little bit cloudy, the 5-10 sec exposure time is very useful for Polar Aligment.

I used: ASI 585 MC as Main camera, and ASI 220 MM is guide camera and I have ASI AIR Plus (256 GB).
I sent the Log via bug report.

Could you please make available the previous version, until you fix the actual?
I can't use my ASI AIR with this 2.4 version (Firmware 12.29).

Lots of bugs, the Flats don't display correctly, the display on the tablet is bad, it's unusable, I've uninstalled and installed the previous version.

Quick feedback.

Not a big fan of the new routines for finding and selecting objects. But it does work.
On one setup (749mm focal length) PA worked fine. On another, no go. It would not plate solve for initial PA with a 300mm focal length (set by me and then reset by the software when I set the focal length to zero, suggesting it did some form of plate solve to discern the focal length). No PA...no imaging last night. Really need PA to be bullet proof. Lots of other stuff can be worked around. Not PA.

Has anybody managed to successfully do an All Sky PA on any 2.4 version of the ASIAIR app?

I have been trying to use 2.4.x as they are released but no v2.4.x has ever PA'd successfully. When I revert to 2.3.2 from 04/14/25 the ASIAIR works as usual -perfectly- data capture and guiding on my fully optioned ASIAIR just works great.

This is on a Losmandy G11G with Gemini 2 mini running L6.12 firmware over Ethernet.

Where would I find new minor releases 2.4.X ? In the App Stores I only get 2.4.

chiplouie I performed the All Sky PA without any issue. I'm using Asiair plus, Askar FRA500 (with narrowband filter), ASI 2600MC PRO and ZWO AM5N.
