Cord Wrap Issues when using Seestar at Remote Observatories

It's becoming more of an issue with Cord Wrapping for those of us using our Seestar remotely (mine is at Starfront). Will there be an update to the app and firmware to eliminate the cord wrapping problem? Most other goto mounts have that as an option to prevent cord wrapping when going to objects. Thanks!

I currently use USB cables with magnetic connectors, but ideally there should be a software solution to this issue.

This anti-wrap feature has already been implemented. If you’ve updated to the latest version and are still experiencing cable wrapping issues, you may need to submit a log for further analysis.

Support@Seestar For future reference for those of us who look at old appends, could you please state the specific app and firmware levels rather than "latest version".

I, too, have never seen a statement regarding this capability.

We did not present this as a feature statement but rather as a built-in mechanism. The anti-cable-wrap mechanism ensures that when the motor rotates, it actively avoids completing a full 360° turn. If it needs to cross the full-circle position, the system will automatically trigger a reverse rotation and take a longer path to prevent cable entanglement.

Can you state if this cord wrap capability is in App V2.5/Firmware V4.70 or in the next versions which appear to be in beta testing and not yet generally available?

Has this been 'removed' . Seems reporting indicates the feature has been removed since this posting by you.?

It is good to know this feature exists though it would of been helpful to have been informed about it in the release notes. By knowing this I may no longer need to buy a longer more flexible cable to avoid cord wrap when using a power bank for example.
