WiFi extenders don’t always work well if there are many other WiFi signals nearby, or if there are obstacles like trees between your router and the S50 unit. In those cases, you’ll likely need a more direct solution, such as a point-to-point wireless connection. But without seeing the area, it’s a bit difficult to give a perfect recommendation.
That said, if you can get a WiFi signal near the trees, you could use a device like this one:
TP-Link CPE220: https://www.tp-link.com/en/business-networking/pharos-cpe/cpe220/
When set up correctly, this device can pick up your WiFi signal near the trees and send it in a focused direction—toward the S50, as long as it’s visible from that spot.
You can also use two of these devices to create a stronger and more stable connection, but that setup takes a bit more work to configure.
Alternatively, if it’s possible to run a network cable from your router out to the trees, you could simply connect a WiFi access point there. That would give you a strong and reliable signal without needing a wireless bridge.
