Lilo you're not leveling the sensor, you're trying to level the unit with a bad level sensor calibration.

I tested it for an hour and the overall change was 0.1. I think you can upload a log to see the situation.

S50 placed on the level surface. Level sensor calibrated. Reading was 0.0 and in 15 min it drifted to 0.5 Didn't wait further. But it will drift to > 1 in 1hr

Note, if your real latitudeis 50.4deg, if you add 0.3 you have 50.7deg 50.7 round whit no decimal is 51 deg.

Really???? Did you read what I wrote 2 weeks ago?
Unit is on solid concrete floor. No vibrations, no movement, untouched. And level sensor gradually drifts after power on for more than 1°

Lilo Our team analyzed it and it seems that the problem is not there. It is probably caused by the temperature rise of the gsensor during device operation.

Exactly, and I wrote you about it 15 days ago that it looks like drift caused by seestar internals temperature change after power on.

You told me that it's not normal and yours device tested shows no more than 0.1 drift. Pls, look posts above ..

So, is it normal or is it not?

Sorry it's my fault, because this situation did not occur in my test, but we found through the log that everything was fine. After consulting the engineer, I learned that it might be due to temperature changes.

Ok. So, back to the topic start then.
Such a drift often causes a problem with polar alignment. At the beginning of the procedure it complains that RA axis height is incorrect 50° instead of 51° and doesn't allow to proceed with alignment. Could you increase the tolerance at that step to +-2° for instance for future versions of app? In any way that is rough positioning and fine tuning is done on alignment screen with numbers and arrows at the left top corner of the picture.
Maybe even make that initial check optional, just a warning, and allow to proceed.

And againg you don't understand what I wrote. Pls read again.

Fine tuning is done by top numbers. And it works great. Since the numbers are relative from the current position+-. Drifting sensor is not a problem.
But the bottom number with drifting sensor is a real issue. It even doesn't allow you to start the procedure. Telling you move it up by 1°. Then in polar alignment screen it tells you move it down by 1°. If you set alignment to perfect 0 0, exit and want to enter again in order to check it becomes real pain in the ass. It again claims you are off!!!! Move up by 1°. And so on.
Do you get it now?!!
