Close arm when plan is finished

Hi,
I noticed that since the last update my seestar does not automatically closes the arm when a program is finished, leaving the lens exposed when I come all pick it up in the morning.

Is there a way to solve this?

With auto shutdown set to ‘yes’ then at the end of a plan the arm should close and the Seestar should turn off.
With auto shutdown set to ‘No’ then at the end of a plan the arm should close but the Seestar does not turn off.
That’s the way mine works now and it’s the way it was working prior to 2.6.

Yes I have. Still, this morning I found the scope open.

Please enable the auto shutdown function, wait for 20 minutes, and if the arm does not return to its position, turn the device back on. Then, follow this tutorial https://h5.seestar.com/course/79221 to submit a firmware log, making sure to check the “Add log” option.

Oh, that’s interesting. Though my statement earlier in this thread is correct, I am still on firmware version 4.7, sounds like it could be a problem with the firmware rather than the app version?

Hello, I have exactly the same issue after latest firmware update 5.34 . I always let Seestar S50 working during nighttimes untill in the end power is over. Normally before the update the Seestar stops and arm goes back to home position, stacked picture in the album and also picture in the save. Now, after the update this all is not working anymore !!! Seestar stops at about 12 % power with the arm still open and no stacked picture in the album. Tests done over several days with 2 different ipads ! ZWO, please do new firmware please sap with things working as before ? Thanks, Fritz from The Netherlands.

I agree with @O5w77p3o. I have auto shutdown turned off. The S50 has an external power supply, so it is at full charge at the end of the plan. After the plan is completed, the arm is down and the S50 is still powered on. Maybe this issue has to do with how much power remains at the end of the plan. I am using software version 2.6 and the most recent hardware update.

What's the situation? Have you submitted your log? It seems that your log information is not seen.

Hello, from my side I tried to do a log, but in someway did not succeed in sending. Moreover I think it's enough to mention th isssue over here and you, "support@seestar" can do the follow up to do a new firmware please.

new firmware 5.34
During nighttime I let Seestar just running (without a plan)
Auto shutdown on
Seestar stops at about 11/12 % power left, power goes off
Arm not closed
No stacked picture in the album
No saving jpg picture
Tests done with different ipads, same issue
