Sky atlas question

Updated the sky atlas app, reset lat/long to my home and changed the language to English. The app is running fine. My question is, when you tell the seestar app to sync with sky atlas, does it use the seestar coordinates or the coordinates you input into the sky atlas app?

When using the Sky Atlas sync function, the coordinates from Sky Atlas are used for pointing. However, please make sure that your Seestar device’s GPS and your phone’s time are set correctly, as accurate location and time are essential for proper alignment and GOTO performance.

So, if I travel quite a ways from home, I will need to update the coordinates in sky atlas to the same as the seestar app to get a correct star chart. I'm not complaining, just wondering if it's something I should add to the setup check list.

Yes, Sky Atlas uses its own coordinates. To ensure the star chart matches the Seestar’s pointing, you should update Sky Atlas to the same coordinates as the Seestar app whenever you change your observing location.

The Seestar app has a SkyAtlas tab. Can the SkyAtlas app also connect to Seestar or is it for ASI Mounts only?
