Without jpg, the SeeStar app would be useless since both the thumb and full image are used for presentation within the app. How hard is it to sort by filetype, select the fits and either copy or move them? I suspect it is certainly much easier to do that than obtaining proficiency with steep learning curve software(s).
The use of jpg are actually required for the myriad of customers who only edit within the SeeStar app. Using jpg versions of subs within the app to decide which images to keep or cull is much easier than fits after export.
This may be a case where the requests/demands of a few vocal customers exceed the need of many happy customers.
