Tech@ZWO I intrepret his request as being able to enter comet ephermis data in order to track the comet during a session instead of tracking the stars like normal.
I assume the task might be easier if you could simply tap on the comet head and have a "tracking" button, such as found in scenery mode. I know it wouldn't work well unless the comet head is bright enough to be sensed from other things in the image, much like what it takes in scenery mode to track an object.
