Hi, I’ve just taken delivery of the above camera. My problem is the I need to switch between the main camera and the guide camera to achieve guiding focus, if you see what I mean. But I’ve tried to switch between cameras. I.e making the guide camera the main camera so as to achieve focus then I can switch the camera to the 585 as the main camera, but unless I turn everything off, I cannot switch, what do I need to do? Anyone advise please

When you are debugging the guide camera or the main camera, you only need to disconnect the camera to switch between them. I don’t understand what you mean by "turning off everything".

Hi, unless I switch both cameras off as well as everything else I am not able to switch cameras. What do you advise?

denababy Typically, there's no need to turn off all devices. You only need to disconnect the currently connected camera and then switch to another one. I think the issue is due to an incorrect operation on your part. Could you record a video and send it to me? I'd like to see how you're performing the operation. I have the same camera and same need. What i do : disconnect 585 sensor from the main camera tab. Then disconnect the guide sensor from the guide camera tab. And only after that, I connect the guide sensor into the main camera tab.
First time I tried was a bit confusing as I did not disconnect the guide camera from the guiding camera tab. But if you take care of that, no problem at all.
