The important part first: this update completely fixed random RA errors that were causing me so much frustration for the last month. Prior to the update, I was losing half of my subs to bizarre RA jitters during guiding, and I had eliminated the possibility of cable obstructions, bad alignment, etc.
But immediately following the update, I've had two straight nights of perfect guiding for 6 hours each night with ZERO lost exposures. It's been amazing to have that reliability back. I hope the developers already know the cause and that this fix was intentional.
My setup: Northern hemisphere, the latest iPad, AM5N mount, Redcat 51 iii WIFD, ASI2600MC, ZWO 30mm f/4 Mini Guide Scope, EAF, CAA, regular polar alignment, standard plate solve.
