ASI6200MM (2025 Version) Artifact Issue

I've been having sporadic issues with my ASI6200MM 2025 version. My first camera had icing issues and ZWO helped replace the camera.

Now I'm having these artifacts on my frames when I'm shooting targets or doing calibration frames. I haven't noticed a pattern for what's causing it (i.e. light frames vs calibration frames, exposure time, gain, etc.), but it seems to be increasing in how often it happens.

See attached screen shots of the artifacts. Note that I haven't had any issues with my 2024 ASI6200MM similar to this (plus the 2024 version cools more quickly and uses less power to cool, but that's another topic). Has anyone else come across this with the ASI6200MM or similar sensor?

What software did you use for shooting? It seems to be caused by the SDK not being updated to the latest version. Please download the ASIStudio software, then right-click the mouse, open the file location, find the ASICamera2.dll file, copy it to your corresponding software, and replace the existing file of the same name.

Tech@ZWO - I've been using an ASIAir Plus with the latest firmware. In addition, I ran into the issue on my mini PC using NINA with the update .dll from ASIStudio.

Have you attempted to resolve your issue so far? You can also download ASIStudio for shooting and check if the images are normal.

Hello. I also recently got this same camera (ASI6200MM Pro 2025). I have not gotten to take any pictures outside of the sky as yet but I have been trying to take dark frames indoor and the camera is producing dark frames like I have never seen from any other camera. I cooled it down to -5C and sometimes there is a bright spike in the dark frame and other times, it is completely black with all the pixels showing a zero reading. When I open the scope and let light in, the images show white and grey vertical banding but I don't have an image of this to show.

I use Stellarmate controller to control the camera. It is an indi based controller that is running on a raspberry pi 5 16GB version. Is there a similar SDK update that I have to do?
