S50 and station mode and internet.

I have been using station mode for months without too many problems on my iPad.

However 2 issues.

1) every now and again the S50 looses network connection even though its near the my router.
Eventually it does come back on line but I cant do anything until it does.

2) The app closes down internet connection on some apps, ie messages and airdrop. Only when I quit the app will my internet connect again. This is very frustrating as I am try to export photos from app but cant.

Hi there,
1、You can switch between 5G and 2.4G in Seestar's bridge mode and check if your network disconnects.
2、Check your router's signal—you can use a signal detection tool to test the signal strength.
3、You can try connecting directly to Seestar's network to see if the connection drops. Additionally, you can test bridging with another WiFi network to check for disconnections.
Regarding exporting images you mentioned, you can connect Seestar to your computer via a USB cable to export your photo album.

Same problem, in station mode at 2.4GHz the SeeStar frequently disconnects and is very slow in uploading photos, including live stacking ones, so slow that I can hardly ever load the live image. At 5GHz, on the other hand, it can't connect at all (when I enable station mode). With a direct connection, there are no problems at all, neither at 2.4GHz nor at 5GHz. I am also very close to the router, no more than 2 meters away.

Yngvarr If the 2.4G connection frequently drops, please check if there is signal interference in the surrounding environment. If you are unsure, you can move to another outdoor location for testing and see if the 2.4G connection still keeps disconnecting.

Next time this issue occurs, please log into the Seestar app using your email and submit a log following the tutorial: https://h5.seestar.com/course/79221 in the app.
Make sure to check “Add log” before submitting. We will analyze the log to understand why the 5GHz connection is not working at all.

Tech@ZWO In fact, I found that the SeeStar is very sensitive to interference. I had to fix the router channel and set a bandwidth of 20MHz, so the connection seems stable.

The dropping of connection is a problem, I cant move my location as i have only one spot to put the s50.

what about the app locking out other apps using data from time to time ?
