LOSS OF CONNECTION

Hi, i have a big problem with my Asiair, everytime i want to shoot something with my setup, my asiair lose the Wifi connection with my phone. i have tried to use the 2.4 and 5GHz wifi but it didn't work, i also tried the station mode but same issue, my power supply are right in 12V and 5A but the deconnection still happend, even with an Ethernet cable i still lose the connection. Can someone tell me what i can do, if i have to return the Asiair or if i can solve the issue.

That's a classic and frustrating issue. Since you've ruled out WiFi, focus on these two things:

Power: Your 12V/5A PSU might not be enough, especially if you're running a cooled camera and a mount. Voltage drops cause disconnects and reboots. Try a more powerful supply (e.g., 10A).

USB: A bad USB cable or a device causing a power surge on the USB bus will crash the connection. Disconnect all USB devices and reconnect them one by one with high-quality cables.

If those don't work, a Factory Reset (Settings -> System) is your next best step before considering an RMA.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I have nothing powered by the asiair so it’s probably due to the USB, but I have my setup since August and I didn’t have any issue during summer, can it be cause to the low temperature and bad USB cable ?

@block blast Have you tried downgrading or reinstalling the ASIAIR firmware?

Hi, thanks for your reply. Yes I have reset the asiair and I reinstalled all the version of the asiair and it still don’t work.
