Since upgrading to v2.4.2 and updating firmware on my ASI mini (12.55) used to control EQ6-R/ASI6200MM combo, I can no longer connect to the mount. The error message I receive is Connection failed - check serial connection and baud.
I am using 115200 baud, and I have checked that the serial cable works on my ASIAiR pro/CQ 350 combo. I have also checked that the mount works fine with the hand controller. Rebooting the ASIAir and switching mount off/on does not resolve the problem. Reloading firmware also did not work. Swapping the usb input to the ASIAir mini also did not solve the problem.
It could still be a hardware issue (in the usb connection on the mount), but this problem arose as soon as I upgraded to 2.4.2. It almost looks like the old (five years ago) hardware connectivity problem with the EQ6-R the ASIAir used to have.
Has anyone experienced similar issues? Or have any suggestions?
I have now been without ASIAir control of my mount for 2 months. Please help.
