While I love and applaud ZWO for pushing things forward with the Seestar, and I look forward to the introduction of new features, I do get increasingly irritated by some of the, in my opinion, ‘fiddling’ that goes on with how the app works.
I don’t want to see tips on the screen, I certainly don’t want to have a video linking me to the ZWO shop when I open the screen.
I’ve just spent more time than I care to admit trying to find where the EQ settings, dew heater option etc had now been hidden. Oh there it is, now under the ‘me’ tab. How illogical!
I know different things are better for different people, but once people get used to things, consistency is key. Please stop moving things into different menus. When the clouds part of an evening and I get half an hours imaging available, the very last thing I need is to have to relearn the app before getting shooting. I am not knocking what you guys are doing, far from it. But please stop and think about the end user experience if every update means changes to the layout. Thanks.
