Correct. No progress countdown at all.

Partial correction and edit of this post. Turns out on one tablet, I get no countdown. Just the square with a circle around it. On another tablet, I get a 50% countdown before it goes away. On 2.5.x, I got the 50% countdown on everything.

Strangest thing just happened on build 720 with my 2600MC-Duo. I had all my settings as usual, and I went to do a guiding calibration on the screen is completely white! Turns out I need to set my gain down to 100 to get a normal looking guide screen if I don't have a filter. I'll admit when I was imaging last night, I never went to that screen without a filter. That was the first night with that build. Once my filter is installed, I need to pump the gain back up to where it was. Did something change in build 720 regarding the gain on the Duo cameras? I never used to need to change the gain based on the filter. I had a number that pretty much worked for everything.

An old problem has returned. The image taken immediately after a goto, whether from the atlas or goto from a previous image, has a distinct green hue. Manually retaking the image is normal. Bug BT20260723574323A

You asked for a bug report when the ASIAir throws away an image because a threshold for focusing is hit, even though the camera was in mid-capture. Bug ID BT20260723936156A. You said you wanted bug reports, so I've given you plenty!

And I'll say for about the fifth time, your logic for "settling" and resuming image capture is sorely flawed on the ZWO harmonic mounts.

Moontanner I'll be testing this feature out as soon as I get a chance and will report back.

Oh boy! That was a total disaster.
The sky cleared up enough to have a test run and pretty much everything failed. AF didn't work. Connection drop outs. Tried to pause and restart a plan to no avail.
There was definitely a current position shown for the CAA during part of the setup process. Although, I can't say if it makes any difference.

I've sent through the logs in a bug report and rolled things back again.

BrineyEye that‘s a very interesting solution. Awesome work! Do you mind sharing more details in a separate thread on this forum? Maybe with some images and links to the gear used to control the observatory via HomeAssistant? Would be great!

AstroDude42 Yes, I wasn't intending to highjack, but the new Remote support for ASIAIR in 3.0 is really what got me going. My Home Assistant app is running very well in remote mode, so there's great potential. It won't be true automation, but it could still be nice. Maybe ZWO is working on an add-on box 🙂. Wish my weather was cooperating, but that's why I want to build it and more easily take advantage of limited clear sky.

I've had issues plate solving since the 3.0 beta. Last night I failed a meridian flip since it wouldn't re-solve. I haven't failed a flip in years! Have issues with solving for centering as well, not sure what was going on, used both the old and new solvers.

This sounds similar to my experience. The focus routine wasn't working and that messed up everything else.
After manually focusing, things slowly degraded as the temps dropped and the focus shifted.

I also noted that "Detect" never stopped trying to detect the star size once I'd pressed the tab. Even after a few exposures, which typically makes you run a new sequence for each exposure.

Were you able to run a focus routine?

I tried to download the 3.0 Beta for Android and the payer website charged my card some $34 against what they said would not happen. Is this a fraudulent situation? And how can I download this version safely?

Is it possible to downgrade, it seemed when I used the old app and the camera was updated to the new firmware it will not connect.

On Android:
You need to roll back by going to the "i" tab.
Hit "Reset Firmware".
Once it finishes, it'll reboot the device and suggest an update. Don't update.
Turn it all off and delete the Beta app.
Install the free standard app from the Play Store.
Now connect and follow the prompts to update the firmware. Bingo!

If you leave the firmware update from the Beta install on the ASIAIR, nothing will work IME.

Moontanner curious what the AF step size was set to - Ive found that the setting is quite sensitive and can cause AF failure ...

I know I've filed a ton of bugs on the beta, but my imaging has been working and I've had zero issues with focusing.

I've just packed everything away, so I can't really check the step size right now. I would assume it's identical to the step size that the rig imaged with all night after I rolled back to the older firmware/software.

It's not that the focus routine struggled to find focus. It never even started shooting. It froze once I pressed the exposure start tab.
