Just an update: ZWO provided me with ASIAIR version 2.3.3 by email. I installed it and tested it over two nights.
I can now confirm that, using exactly the same setup I have been using for about two years, guiding is back to normal.
Even with very narrowband filters, such as the Optolong L-Ultimate 3 nm and the Altair SII/OIII DualBand 4 nm, I can guide again with Bin 1, gain 300–370, and 2/3second exposures using the L-Ultimate, using the Altair filter, just as I did before the recent ASIAIR updates.
This strongly suggests that the guiding issues were introduced in the newer ASIAIR software versions, rather than being caused by my equipment or the use of narrowband filters.
