Guiding is a lot better with 2.3.3 than 3.0.0.
I set up tonight starting with 3.0,0. Installed. I guess it works well enough to make the small refractor types happy but if you dig deeply with a big scope it’s still very flawed.

There’s something odd in the PA routine.
There’s something wrong with the contrast in the mono guide cam image, it loses guide stars, and the guiding rms is worse - it was guiding at 1.5 rms when normally this rig guides at 0.3-0.5 in average seeing and can guide at 0.15-0.2. Tonight there is no wind here, it’s dead calm, with very good seeing.
My guider tonight is an ASI676MM in a 70mm APO, piggyback on the main scope. I also tried the 2600 DUO briefly… it worked but couldn’t find a guide star at 2s exposure.
There are other cosmetic flaws in the user interface as well.
There’s a lot to fix yet.
Finally I gave up and reset it to 2.3.3. Nice night and not worth wasting it with 3.0.0.
2.3.3 is now guiding at 0.3-0.5 rms and imaging with AUTORUN as expected. ASIAir reports average star size as 1.5 arcsec and subs look sharper..
