LOL, let me get this straight, you bought $8k worth of equipment and haven't used it because some youtube influencers and random handful of people on the internet have said there are bugs in one version of the ASIAir and recommended people use an older version you don't have access to? Dude, what are you doing, put your big boy pants on and download the Air app on your phone and try you dang equipment. Chances are very very high you will have problems with your equipment for a VARIETY of reasons, it is literally the first time you are setting it up and running it and you (obviously) have no experience in this realm. It will almost certainly take you several nights to dial everything in properly and have running smoothly, regardless of what version of the Air app you are using. So stop complaining on a message board about some pointless posts and videos you saw saying to use app version 2.5.2 and go outside, setup your stuff, and run it with whatever version of the app you can get.
This is a complicated hobby, you don't need to make it worse by overthinking what a bunch of opinionated crap you see in a youtube video. Realistically, you probably won't have a bug issue with the app itself, but you will have various issues pop up when you start running your equipment for the first time. I've been doing this hobby for a good 15 years now, every time I get a new piece of equipment there is some level of troubleshooting involved, whether it's in the setup or control/operation/software side. But none of that changes until you actually get your hands dirty instead of whining online about not being able to install version 2.5.2.
