Tried the .8 Ascom driver last night for autoguiding with mixed results.
Could now select exposures less than 1 second in length. However, still hangs after a few frames if the exposure time is too short. In particular, I set exposure to 0.1 second, 4x4 binning and 1/4 subframe, and the camera will consistently hang after a few frames. However, I only needed to push the "Take Photo" button to resume rather than having to cycle the USB connection.
Still having an issue with setting the USB speed. It will not stick where I set it. Always goes back to default 90 speed.
Much more stable taking 1 second exposures (still using USB 2.0). Funny new issue: 1 second full frame exposures look fine, but 3 second full frame exposures return "Dark Frames." If I take a 1 second exposure, select a guide star from that image but then autoguide with 3 second guidestar exposures, that works fine. Checking on imaging results this morning shows that the autoguide exposures eventually hung after about 2 1/2 hours of imaging.
