Ok, here's the update.
1. I moved the OAG prism up and out of the optical path. That fixed the issue and helped to reduce the deep red I was seeing during processing
2. I now take flats at 15,000 ADUs not the 30,000 as before. That seem to fix the issue with the balance of the deep red.
Now something new showed up last night.
The cooler is not working on the ASI071 Pro Camera. The camera temperature is all over the place. Here two screen shots taken back to back when I turned to camera cooler on.
After a few seconds after the cooler is turn on in SGP. The camera temperature jumps all over the place. One second the temperatue might read 100 degrees C and the next 60 degrees C and the next 90 degrees C. after f few seconds the cooler seems to turn off. I Checked this using SharpCap as well and I was getting the same results with the wild swings in camera temperature.
1. I went out to the Camera and the red power light was on but the fan was not spinning.
2. I checked the power and I'm reading 12.23Vdc Volts. I have an power extension line running to the camera that is 18 gage so I don't think its a voltage drop issue
3. The power supply is use is a 12Vdc 2.5 amp
4. I changed the 071 Pro camera out to my Atik 383+L and the cooler on this camera worked just fine using the same setup.
Any Idea?
