My ASI1600MMC worked for a while today but when I reconnected and none of my Windows 10 computers recognize the camera. My warranty for the camera and filter wheel has about 9 months to run.
Further examination found that the camera worked when the filter wheel was disconnected, but if I connected the EFW filter wheel cable to the camera the camera disconnected. When I connected the EFW filter wheel to the laptop directly, the laptop gave me a USB Power Surge message. So I assume the power surge was shutting down the camera. Is there a way I can reset the filter wheel, or must I return it to ZWO?
