Tried shooting another target last night (first time in a month) and I'm STILL having mount disconnections when using the ASIAir Plus. Any other software, controller is fine but Plus shows it is connected to the mount (CEM70), but when I try to slew the mount, or make any changed I get the message "Mount not connected". This has been going on since I( bought the ASIAir Plus two months ago.
I have replaced the mount's power supply, backed off the Plus' firmware then reinstalled, turned off all power and restarted, rebooted each connection, and everything I can think of, but all that was as useless as this ASIAir Plus. I'm an I.T. guy and performed every troubleshooting trick I could think of, nothing helped. Last night I kept fiddling, rebooting and trying different things over two hours till the mount was finally detected. I was able to image for an hour before the mount disconnected. I was able to reconnect and get several hours in. After imaging I clicked on the ASIAir app for the mount to go to the Home Position when the mount showed it was disconnected. That was four hours ago. I'm still not able to detect the mount. Even when the Plus' App shows the mount is connected and I click to turn the power on (for the mount) the app displays "No mount connected".
ZWO, I have been putting up with this for two months now. I have sent in logs (two today, with photos) and not sure what to do.
I know I'm not the only one having this problem (a Google search shows that) so please at the least reply to this and tell me to F off if you're not going to help. At least then I'd know you see my multiple requests for help.

Just a note to ask if you can change the default baud rate for the iOptron CEM120 from 9600 to 115200. The ASIair doesn't recognize the mount at 9600 baud. It would be nice not to have to change it every time I try to connect to the mount. Making the default for the mount 115200 should recognize and connect automatically. Thanks.

dannparks What version of ASIAir do you use? I used to have the same issue with my GEM28 and GEM45 and ZWO changed the default BAUD rate to 11500 a few versions ago.

I've been seeing some unusual things after the latest firmware update on both the ASIAir Pro and ASIAir Plus - periodically, and, seemingly, at random, it's turning tracking off for my mount... Here are the configurations I'm using: ASIAir Pro + EQ6R-Pro + Canon EOS 60Da + ASI120MM guide camera and an ASIAir Plus + EQM35 + ASI2600MC-Pro + ASI120MM. It'll be tracking along just fine and then it's not tracking at all. Occasionally, it happens when I stop a plan in the middle but, frequently, it happens when I'm not touching a thing... A little frustrating when I've already gone to bed and this happens. :-)

I believe that stopping a plan is supposed to turn off tracking. The reasoning is that, left with no controlling software, tracking could eventually cause the scope to hit the tripod. Once you restart the plan, a goto, tracking, plate-solve and guiding all kick in. I was also surprised the first time I saw tracking get turned off, but it actually makes sense.

But, if tracking is getting turned off at other times, at random, that sounds like a legitimate problem. Send ZWO the logs for when it happens.

ckoos I've seen my EQ-6R Pro mount (USB connection) tracking randomly turned off on several occasions. Log sent to ZWO, but no response.

I have 4 cameras connected to ASIAir - two sets of ASI6200+ASI120. It's a pain to work out which is which. Any change of having a rename mechanism?

andynowlen I've had a similar experience with M51. RA/DEC coordinates did not correspond to GOTO after plate solve; also did not correspond to what the mount hand controller indicated.

Received a new ASIAIR plus in early January and used about 12 nights without a single issue. Love it!

However, loaded the updated firmware (1.8.3-9.12) last night (Feb 19th, 2022) and all kind of things started going wrong.

app would not longer recognize the main camera unless unplugged and plugged back in.
connecting wifi was struggle. App would show the plus was not connected, but wifi connection was showing it was. Had to back out and in 3-4 times before the error stopped. Occurred several times.
preview picture in app stopped showing when taking a preview image. The prior image on screen stayed and never changed, even after changing targets. Count down timer in a preview shot would periodically not show. When it did, and the image was complete, the load bar never appeared and the image never appeared on the screen. Same occurred during outrun sequence. When initiating autorun on a target, each image was only available in the autorun image folder / , but would not appear on the main screen of the app.

Hope I explained all that ok. Wish I could get back to the prior firmware that ran without issue.

I updated my ASIAIR Pro to the latest beta software version 1.9 (12).
When I do plate solving & sync to the mount on the app, it always sync the telescope position as West even if the telescope positioned East.
If I do "Align" command on SkySafari Pro, it syncs telescope position correctly.
Is this a bug?
