Camera is great. AsiCAP is good. API is really bad on ARM platforms.

Just installed update 6.92. I like the ability to "View Objects" from the Telescope Settings/Mount page but wonder why it has less functionality than viewing objects from the "GoTo" page on Preview. I can delete my favorite objects from the latter, but not the former. Also, is there no way to EDIT my favorites, e.g. correct typos in the name?

starmapper The View Objects is a entrance for users are running the Autorun. If you are on the iOS, you can slide right to edit the object, if you are on the Android, long press on the object to edit it.

I am in need of the web address to directly download the latest firmware update for my ASIAIR Pro.
My SamsungGalaxy View2 is not able to update through the Google Play site, as it is listed as not compatible.
My device has worked just fine with the previous update, which also had to download from your server. There is no link provided in your main site under software and drivers. My device is locked out of the app since it is asking me to update.

I would also like to know how to directly install firmware update somehow.
I have not been able to get past the firmware update installation step since I got my new ASIAIR Pro. I just get the same error as soon as it tries to reboot and it doesn’t finish. I have not yet heard back from support, it has been a few days.

Polar alignment doesn’t function. Home position plate solve in PA works. Going to “next” nothing happens and there is no option other than to “cancel” or “confirm.”

The Polar Alignment Feature on Celestron mounts and setting up. My procedures from start to finish.

I’ve seen some Celestron users struggle with Polar Alignment on the Celestron mounts so I figured I would post my setup and imaging procedure to help those who wish to try this. I have used this method on the Celestron AVX, CGEM, CGEM II, CGX and CGEM DX. This method will work with all Celestron mounts that are compatible with the ASIair. I’ve also used this procedure on both the Original ASIair and the ASIair Pro. Another upgrade you can do to the mount is put a thin piece of plastic, like a cut out flat piece of a plastic milk container, and put it between the tripod and the mount head. This will help lessen the friction, make it more smooth and accurate while adjusting the altitude and azimuth knobs.

Place the tripod outside. Point the azimuth adjustment post on the tripod roughly polar north. Use a compass if you aren’t sure where polar north is. If the post isn’t over the tripod leg, use a wrench to switch the post to install the post over the tripod leg. You don’t want the post on the side which is in between the tripod legs. A lot of times, the Celestron mounts are shipped with the post on the side between the tripod legs. The mount will be more stable in this configuration. This will ensure the counterweights are directly over the tripod leg. If you move your tripod and mount as one, then ensure the polar scope is roughly aligned to polar north.
Setup the scope and ensure a perfect balance. Balance the RA and counterweights. Then while the RA is 90 degrees, balance the DEC by sliding the scope in the saddle. Use extreme caution doing this so you don’t drop the scope and I recommend using bolts at the front and rear of the dovetail bar to prevent a slide-off. The scope should now be neutral and stop anywhere you point it. Balance is critical for guiding.
Ensure the mount is returned to the index marks. (The Mount is still powered off)

Very pleased overall.

No Sony camera support is a real short coming.

User interface is not intuitive to negotiate. (Thanks to Peter Zelinka for his excellent video explaining how to navigate, really cut down my learning curve.)

Having to fake out the software by configuring guide camera as main camera then switching back for guiding is not obvious (again much thanks to Peter Zelinka for explaining this on his YouTube channel....that would have taken me some time to figure out). This is inconvenient and error prone too. Why is this necessary? Just use the guide camera period.

PA plate solving works great here which is a big bonus for me since here about 09N, with a mountain range to the N, I cant see Polaris!

ASIAir Pro is working well, but could use a few improvements:

I have 3 different motorized focusers on 3 scopes. The ASIAir Pro works well with the ZWO EAF; the automated focusing works very well. But I also need it to work with the PrimaLuce Esatto 2" and RigelSys focusers. When will you support other focusers? And, we need to be able to have the ASIAir Pro automatically re-focus periodically to verify focus is still good. I can't see any way to do that currently.
I would like to use my Canon T3 DSLR. However, this camera does not have mirror lock capability, so I need to pause for a few seconds after triggering the shutter to let the camera stop shaking before I start capturing the frame. How can I do that in Autorun?
The ASIAir Pro has poor WiFi coverage. If I'm not standing within 10 feet of the ASIAir Pro, I can't get reliable photo/Preview downloads with an ASI294MC Pro. What's the best way to improve the downloads and overall ASIAir Pro responsiveness at about 50 feet?

#1 For now we do not have a plan to support other brands focusers; You can set the AF options under Focus Settings page - AF.
#2 There is a Delay setting under the Autorun Settings page - left side.

Please make it possible to schedule multiple targets for autorun sessions. I want to autorun M42 for a time, then C49, then NGC2683... etc. Setting the start time for each target would be great.
There is a problem when I attempt to use darks/flats/bias during live stacking. The ASIair shuts down the main camera and EAF before completing the first frame. I'm using ASIair Pro 1.5.1 and ASI2600MC.

#1 The multi-target feature is coming in the 1.6 and now we are working on it.
#2 Yes, it's a known bug and fixed in v1.5.3 which is the next version after v1.5.1.

Hi, I recently purchased the air pro,
I am still getting to know the functions it has.
My question atm, is the 4 power outs, when I select dew control, from the drop down tab, it give me a % of power,
changing the percentage, does that, Change the Actual voltage, or does it change time (PWM) and voltage remains the same.
