It appears that the WIFI region country code is always set to CN
Impact - WIFI channels in many countries will either not work or be totally wrong
How I verified this: To be able fully debug the issue fully I added my Linux workstation public ssh keys to the CM4 emmc users authorized_keys entries.
Connecting via ssh I used the fillowing command to verify the incorrect region being used in my case
iw reg get
I was able to change this for testing by using iw reg set CA as I live in Canada
I lastly updated the two wpa_supplicant.conf files controlling the AP and connection profiles to use CA rather the CN.
After rebooting the ASIAIR PLUS the region code shows up correctly and the other channels for my region work
