w7ay Is not that I am not listening to you, everything you mention I've already tried and failed. You can't align if you can't see it, because of the limited visibility on north and south view from my yard, rotating more then 15 degrees east or west the OTA is point at the wall you can't plate solve when point at the wall. When I went to the Joshua tree NP last summer I have no problem polar align, there were no walls blocking any view. Polar align with ASIAir, sharpcap pro, and pole master (I have all of them) is not possible in my yard as long as it has to be done facing north, I wish I got 5 extra feet in north and south but I don't.
