Hi, we have released ASIStudio v1.4!

change log:

Add ASIDeepStack, a deep sky stacking software.
Manuals are published.
ASICap restores the function that saving pictures with txt files after shooting.
ASICap ensures that the actual shooting amount equals to the limits.
ASICap ASIImg ASILive display SN and aliase of EFW and EAF, meanwhile, their aliases can be modified.
ASICap ASIImg ASILive ASIDeepStack can adapt to the DPI scaling automatically in Windows.
You can change the interface language of ASI softwares to Simplified Chinese, English, Japanse and Russian.
Fixed some other bugs.

For the possibility that ASIStudio cannot be auto-updated properly, you may download and update the software manually. Thanks so much for your support!

Congratulations. Easiest capture software to use. I hope the new version solve my bugs ( do not open PHD2 with Asistudio, which difficults the long expositions to DSO - do no to separate main camera and guiding zwo cameras ).

Thanks for the update.
Question: Now ASIDeepStack is able to stack images, what LiveStacking wasn't able to do in previous version. Is this "improved stacking" also implemented in LiveStacking?

achim2205 Hi, their algorithms are almost identical. It's just that some optimization can't be done in live stacking.

I am pleased with the addition of ASIDeepStack to ASI Studio. One of the issues I have had with my ZWO 294 MC, 1600 MC, and 2600MC Pro cameras has been Debayering of the images. The new added app does a better job.

I would now like to propose the additional module for processing planetary image files.
if it could include wavelet processing as well, it would be perfect. Registax 6 was released in 2007. While it has been a great app, it was fallen behind the advances in operating systems.

Hello,
just a few suggestions for the Fits-Header created by ASIDeepStack:

DATE-OBS shouldn't be 'create date', that not usefull at all. It shall be 'start date of oberservation' as it is in ASILive
at least EXPTIME, STACKCNT and GAIN are missing (they are all in in ASILive)

I just downloaded ASIStudio 1.4 on macOS 10.14.
Congratulation for the renewed interface.
But ASIDeepStack crashes systematically.
It even crashed my computer.

jcj2249 We are sorry for that! ASIDeepStack still needs to be improved. At present, if stack too many images, it will cause a crash. Try less images~

I just tested that ASIStudio 1.4 on macOS 10.14 crashes if more than 12 lights are used
It creates the result (Light_AutoSave_Stack.fit) and crashes.

I have a problem with my 294MC, ASI Img don't save the frames with exposure time is over 120sec.
I reported that at the technical help, i'm waiting...

jcj2249 How many calibration frames did you import? In other words, what's the size of all files imported? What is the memory size of your Mac？Maybe, ASIDeepStack needs more memory. In the future we may be able to reduce the hardware requirements.
