I have updated to this version on ASIAir Plus and am still seeing the same network dropouts and transfer issues that came with the 1.8.2/9.08 & 9.10. I am connected via gig-ethernet and on regular occasions the network connectivity goes down. I’ve changed cables, removed my switch and went direct to router and still have this network drop issue - it feels like a driver is crashing and restarting, then the app reconnects.
I have two AA+ And both are doing the same thing since this last updates since 1.8.2 - I know it’s not the station mode bug you are focused on - but I think there’s something more significant going on with this 1.8.x release with networking.
I also am still experincing frequent wifi drops when directly connected to either of my two AA+, and that’s standing 1 foot away from them.
Under additional troubleshooting I find the drop to occur while actively transferring camera data to the app; either while a photo is loading, or while doing a video or using focus mode. After 10-20 seconds network connectivity crashes.
To @altair60 ’s comments, that’s interesting because that might also indicate there are device conflicts happening on the USB internal hub.
On the client side, I use both an iPhone 13 Pro Max and latest iPad Pro M1 12.9” - both experience same issues.
So to sum up, I think there’s USB hub driver conflicts happening, it’s causing wifi and ethernet issues. None of this was present prior to 1.8.x & v9 firmware in my experience. As always, I’d be happy to test or provide more info. I have and will continue to send in-app direct feedback and I do iOS beta testing so will check for beta versions.
