Kring does the latest beta still not work with iPads in default landscape mode?
The ASIAIR app itself (including the ASIAIR splash screen) forces the iPad into landscape mode.
However, there is now a new initial screen in Beta 2.0.0 which appears to be modeled after ASIStudio, where the initial window lets you select one of the apps in the ASIStudio collection, even though that initial window is also named ASIAIR.
That new initial window forces the iPad into portrait mode -- including forcing you to swipe left instead of swiping up to get to the iOS Control Center).
When you return from ASIAIR app to that initial window, the app again forces the iPad into portrait mode. (Yep, it is that comical -- but I don't know whether to laugh or to cry :-).
When you run ASIAIR 2.0.0 Beta in macOS Apple silicon, that inital window now forces the macOS window into portrait mode (window is narrower than it is tall). Once you select the ASIAIR app, the macOS window turns into a landscape aspect ratio.
I am surprised that Apple lets the sloppy ASIAIR GUI pass; although they may not let it pass in a public release.
There is now a confusion of three things called ASIAIR -- one is the hardware, one is the ASIAIR app, and now there is an ASIAIR app that lets you select the real ASIAIR app :-).
