For some reason ZWO haven't updated the version on Google Play. I guess they want you to install it from Pgyer which might not be safe.

Sorry I didn't mean to imply that the ZWO were forcing people to download from a site that might be unsafe, just that to be absolutely safe you should only install apps from the Google Play store.
I've tried on 2 Samsung devices (s20+ and Tab s5e) and neither completes connecting to asiair 2. I get as far as selecting the asiair but when hitting connect it just hangs. Version 1.9.1 works fine on both devices. I've unistalled, updated and tried both direct to asiair WiFi and STA, which work fine with 1.9.1. To note that I never get asked to give permissions when opening version 2.0 for the first time. Any ideas?

rodrigol Having the same problem. I guess I'll try to go back to 1.9 until they fix this. I have reset and restarted everything. I have tried to connect via IP. Same results. Except for one thing that might give us a hint: I can connect from my PC. No problem. I just can't connect from my android tablet or phone. PC is running Windows Subsystem for Android, of course, so it can run the AsiAir app.
rodrigol I have had the same problem. I had to revert to the 1.9 version, which I fortunately still had a copy of because it doesn't seem to be available anywhere else.
Could you please add a naming option for filter other than from EFW? I use Hyperstar, which has a filter drawer. There is no way to distinguish subs with one filter from subs with a second or third filter.

@ASIAIR@ZWO#60353 Hi, Thanks for replying. I've done this by switching the asiair plus on/off. Attempting again de connect just makes the app hang for me. Uninstalling version 2.0 and installing version 1.9.1 gives me a fully functional app. I've got to try a reset of the asiair but I haven't had the time yet. Cheers.
rodrigol Hi, I have reset the asiair+ wifi and managed to get the phone to update the firmware and connect properly. The problem persists with the tablet. Connecting directly works but going STA does not. I'm going to try switching off 5g. I'll report on this approach later.

Is ASIAir supposed to attempt to re-center an object during Autorun? I have not seen this before the latest 2.0 version. I was working on polar alignment (drift method) with a SkyGuider Pro and doing some test shots at M31. The Autorun stopped after the first frame and the ASIAir attempted to re-center M31. Of course this failed because the SGP is not a goto mount. I had to re-start the Autorun each time. Once I had the alignment dialed in and there was no dec drift the behavior stopped.

Are the community map locations available in any other language than Chinese? Why does the community locations map always default to ZWO Home base?
Can we have an option to automatically „enter device“ upon launch? I don’t need the community features etc. It just adds another tap necessity.
Getting there would still be possible by using the „return“ button at the top left, if needed.

rodrigol Hi, the network reset and going 4g only did not work with the tablet. When enabling STA the tablet disconnects and never manages to reconnect. I've tried this on 2 Samsung tablets (Galaxy Tab S7 FE and Galaxy Tab S5). Version 9 worked OK. Thanks.
KF7DS ZWO says this was an ST4 error that was fixed in the latest beta 2.0.1. I have not yet tested.
