Hello, I have installed new beta firmware. I have noticed one new thing only: with the app you can choose between two beep levels or mute.
Regarding multiple stars I don't know how to do it!

It would be really helpful if there were step-by-step instructions on how to update the firmware. I tried to update to 1.2.1, but the AM5 app says my version (1.1.2) is the latest version. Where is the button in the AM5 app to tell it to “check for updates”?

Almach Beta versions may contain some bugs (see post #1), so they are usually released for technically advanced users, which are capable to thoroughly examine and feed-back problems. It's not meant to be installed by ordinary users, thus betas are not available in standard upgrade channels. If You are not familiar with ASCOM philosophy, I suggest wait for official release.

I think you can also take a break to install ASCOM platform in a pc, download the new firmware, connect the mount with usb cable provided and install it. It's very very easy.
