Station mode is only available in 2.4 Ghz, and not in 5 GHz,. 5 GHz (home) networks are not recognized. When you switch to Station mode it tells you that 2.4 GHz is required. I request that ASIAIR Plus also support 5 GHz in Station mode.
Foobaria Thanks for your suggestions, will consider this in the future,

Any updates on this? In older versions, it used to be possible to initially connect on the 2.4 band and get band steered by the router to 5ghz as explained here: https://bbs.zwoastro.com/d/14174-5g-station-mode
But it seems like this behaviour was removed at some point. Station mode on 2.4ghz is really slow. Please consider adding support for 5ghz.
There are some limitations in the radio hardware on the raspberry Pi versions that restrict certain combinations. See https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/103892/can-rpi4-run-simultaneously-on-dual-band-wifi-2-4ghz-5ghz
Station mode has become completely unusable for me after an update eliminated band steering to 5ghz sometime ago... I have to connect directly with asiair wifi and the downloads and response time is great. Fortunately I get a good signal from both our living room and bedroom to the backyard where the scopes get setup. Previously station mode did the same thing but it is so slow now it takes minutes to transfer a single shot to the screen.
