pupak What year would that be? It isn't going to be this year.
Seestar_S50 That already has such a wide field where would you use Mosaic?
bkushner Are you for real? M31, Veil Nebula, Fighting Dragons of Ara, Southern Cross, Coal Sack, M20 and M8 complex, Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex. That's without even thinking. Heck even the M16 Nebula is slightly too large given field rotation.
@Seestar_S50 It would be great if the toggle for activating mosaic-mode would be on the StarAtlas-Page instead of the Stargazing-Page. It is somehow counter-intuitive to go to another page to activate the feature and then got back to use it.
Obes All these fit in the field of my Dwarf 2
merak You are right. Anyone who can compare first steps with simple visual scopes, then GoTo solution, and what we can reach now thanks to Seestar, greatly appreciates this smart scope. We know that "proffesional" astrophoto offers much more, however it is unbelivable that with very reasonable money S50 can reach and we can see so many wonderful DSO objects.
Hi zwo, is their any insight on how close the mosaic mode is getting for public release?
marvindj You can download it now on TestFlight!

“This program no longer accepts beta testers“ 😢
xfirf The link is now closed, the beta version has been removed.
My cousin's, neighbor's, sister's old room mate was able to dl the 2.1.0 for Android but can't figure out how to enable mosaic mode. Any help would be appreciated by my cousin's, neighbor's, sister's old room mate.
Night Sky You turn it on in the top right corner in viewing mode, then you pick a new object and then you press framing.
Hi, I'm sorry, as far as I know, the beta software has some restrictions, and only some testers can install it. Please wait for a while, the Mosaic mode of Seestar is being tested, I believe it will be updated soon, thank you.
AstroNet@ZWO Could you please define “soon”. Dwarf III has got it now. Thanks.
NGC007 No, the Dwarf III does not have mosaic mode yet - I am one of the fortunate ones to have received my D3 and that feature is not scheduled to be implemented until November per the official DwarfLab release calendar.

Floyd_2 Think we’ll get a new Seestar with Mosaic mode before it’s added to the S50 unfortunately.
As the beta is already working quiet well I would guess it will take some more weeks for small tweaks till it is ready for the regular release.
xfirf i'll rather wait for the beta testers to report back to zwo instead of rush out a new version. Doing so all the people complaining that it takes forever is most likely going to complain that it doesn't "work" as expected. So after the beta testers are finished i'm going to test this :-) and then its probably going to be changes later on as people report back whats good and what could be better etc. Anyhow the mosaic mode is quite interesting. Maybe its doable to take the "whole" sky with short "exposures" so just get the stars and "the milky way". But also galaxies i'll guess i quite nice to expand the FOV.
I'm not so worried about the mosaic mode at this time, but I wish they would release a version fixing the wifi bug and automatic enhancing. Hopefully before T CrB goes off.
xfirf Hey @support is there a chance you will add "resume last mosaic-session" to the upcoming mosaic-feature? Would be very handy when taking pictures on more than one night.
xfirf Good idea.
xfirf Hi, I will report this to the product manager. Thank you.
