Since bringing my ASI Air Pro current, the ASI Air Pro will not detect any of my connected cameras or EAF. All have power and are plugged into the same ports as they were before upgrading. I’ve also performed a factory reset and reinstalled the firmware per the directions and suggestions by others. The only device that’s detected is the EFW, which is connected through my camera. I’ve tried both my 071 and 183 pros without success.
In short, I can’t use any of my ZWO devices. I need help badly to rectify this. Both the 071 and 183 are in perfect condition.
I also updated both the hand controller and ASI Mount 5 firmware, in case it matters.
felixcortez have you tried another USB3 cable? If the camera and others attached doesn't detected, USB cable could be the reason.
Andrix I didn’t as the EFW is daisy chained through the currently connected ASI 071 MC Pro and is being detected. The camera itself isn’t detected. The cable I’m using is the OEM ZWO USB 3.0 cable.
Andrix I admit I did not believe that the USB cables could be the source of the issue as the ZWO USB cables seem to be high quality. That said, I took your advice after exhausting all other options and when I plugged the new USB 2.0 and 3.0 cables in, everything appeared as it should. Thanks for the suggestion. In all my computing, I can't recall a USB cable just going bad. First for everything.
Thanks
felixcortez Only connect one device at one time to try, is there any difference?
In addition, Do these devices work on PC?
L5rEAosd The new 13.8 V PS worked great.
Yeah, lab bench supplies have good regulation and low noise.
Power bricks are a crap shoot. Like the one you used earlier that can't even hold regulation. For low power (3A), I like to use the "medical" power supplies. Again, good regulation and really low noise (and "medical" ones have good isolation from the power line). I just measured the noise of this one (not available on Amazon, of course; you need to go to real electronics distributors like Mouser ot DigiKey :-) and it shows less than 5 mV RMS AC noise (most bench supplies don't come anywhere close -- even the one I use for my telescope setup [PowerWerx] is rated at < 100mV p-p [35 mV RMS] noise). The noisy power supplies that some people use to feed their sensitive cameras is just sad.
They make higher powered bricks and much higher powered wall mounted ones for hospitals.

L5rEAosd Where is 2.2? I only see 2.1.4 on Android.
evilc https://www.pgyer.com/air_test However, I don't know why ZWO provided two key verision, 2.1.4 and 2.2 at the same time, 2.1.4_0410(674) and 2.2_0410(673), which one is correct or the latest?? ( maybe for different ASIAIR)
Official 2.1.2:
AM5 + ASIAir Pro.....
Goto only works after a reboot of ASIAir. Polar align, guide - all works well. Goto new target - does not ever work. Reboot ASIAir - Goto works perfect and guiding resumes.
Ideas? Mount moves using on screen arrows so the ASI can still control - the goto just will not work until reboot and then it only works ONCE.
evilc did not move or plate solve failed?
Tech@ZWO Plate solve fine. Mount moved wrong direction then stops. Rebooting ASI solves issue for ONE goto.
Also updated firmware on asiair plus now get images like below zwo eaf doesn't focus correctly and guidecam asi120mm view is awful. I have disconnected and reconnected cables reinstalled firmware update still same problems I have logged bug reports and clicked on the upload logs but in the below reports shows no logs so not sure if that is a bug or it never worked previously.

bladezz I haven't seen any focus issues on mine, but in the many reports of issues that I have seen on Astrobin and CN, the problems are far ranging with differences among the disgruntled users... me being one of those.
nicolas this is what I have was previously 6020x4016 and now 4015 this firmware has killed my rig eaf was working now it says autofocus complete and get huge white blobs that should be small sharp stars
I experienced problems after the upgrade from the very start. I have reverted back to 2.0 (10.46). So the remaining issues were when AA chooses a guide star, it always goes for the brightest star of the very few that show and the numbers peg out at 255. I have to drop the gain down to 7 in order for it to pick a star that isn't maxed out. The guide screen is very dark and very few stars show up. I normally set gain at medium 28, or high 48 and sometimes bump it up to 60, depending on seeing conditions. Don't pat yourselves on the back yet, this load is screwed up.
There is a bug that needs to be addressed when multiple people (for example, at a star party) are using station mode with a common router at that location. Once you connect your ASIAir by station mode to the common router that others are using in station mode, then anyone of those other people can connect to your ASIAir. This has caused people to inadvertantly connect to the wrong ASIAir and take over control of it.
Hello there. I've updated the firmware last night before shooting and I've troubles with my Nikon Z6 II camera. In preview and plate solving I have a warning about RAW format (must clic on ok each time) and the pictures seemed to be a little bit strange (the moon wasn't really round). So for the first clear night of the year, yes, I had to use directly my caemra without the Asiair Plus to shoot 12P Pons Brooks. All the best JC
I have had a reply from zwo bug report and they confirm you should roll back to your previous firmware I have just done this and everything looks back to normal I get my 1 pixel back to 4016. To roll back for the asiair plus click on the i icon restore previous version once it is complete just close your app and uninstall it and install the previous version of the app that corresponds to the version that last worked for you. Open app it will ask you to update firmware to that version mine was 10.74 once this is updated you should be back to where you was before updating to the latest firmware. Hope this helps
bladezz thanks, I will try this afternoon.
bladezz I only can reset to 9.97 or use 11.01. I’m on iOS.
I can't use my Asiair to do plate solving or stacking with Nikon Z6 II. It was ok before latest firmware. I received this message when I do plate solving and sometimes during preview.
Asiair Plus 2.1.2 (11.01) Nikon Z6 II 1.62 iPad iOS 17.4.1
No way to return to last firmware, it's 9.97 (reset) or 11.01.
Can you help me ?
Neoprog this might be the version of asiair app you need to install for nikon support v2.0-10.23 once installed open it to connect to asiair after downgrade to 9.97 it will ask you to update to the same version of app.
