Sounds to me like an iOS issue. I use Andorid tablets. I have two Air Plus controllers on two separate rigs. I have never had an Air update during an imaging run. If there is an update available it always starts BEFORE the tablet can make a connection to Air.

I recently installed v2.1.4 (11.06) of the ASIAIR android app and updated my ASIAIR Plus units to the latest firmware version (v1.3.7) and would like to report a potential software bug.

Since the updates were made, my location is not being properly identified by the app and I have to manually enter my GPS coordinates each time I use the controllers.

When I click on Refresh Location Info, a "Locate Sucess" message is returned, but the coordinates are always the same and are incorrect (the GPS coordinates are in China and I'm in the US)

Tech@ZWO I was using the latest release on an ASI AIR PLUS. I have raised a ticket with the details. Thanks

klouiso Thank you for your feedback. We've acknowledged the issue and will address it in the next update. If you encounter any further issues, please submit logs through the app.

vZ0iwf7b Thank you for your test.
Do you refer to the firmware update or APP update? the former only happens when you run the new version app.
The latter lies on your APP store, ASIAIR app itself does not update automatically

Mexximus What is the BT number of your bug report? i did not find the log for this problem.
You can find the BT number here. thanks

Longitude Error. Longitude is reversed when you do a location refresh and at startup, showing E instead of W. This occurs on my Google Pixel 5a, but not on my Samsung Galaxy tablet. It is repeatable, and occurs on both my ASIAir Pro and ASIAir Plus. I believe this is a new bug, but I can't be sure as I haven't used my phone to control the ASIAirs in a long time.

Note that this may be the real cause of the issue " of being in China" that stormynorm and cpl42 are having

Correction - Lat and Long are both of Beijing, and it never picks up my location on my phone. Meanwhile on my tablet again, it starts with Beijing (except marks long W instead of E), when refreshed, it doesn't pick up my current location, but rather picks up the last location I used ASIAir. (We are travelling on a long vacation)

Can we get the previous version put back up, since this version has problems and shouldn't have been released

I had my first issue with this new release last night. After calibration I would slew to a nearby target and my guiding would switch to single point guiding. I rebooted a few times and it would repeat. Even after stopping guiding it would not pick new guide stars and just kept that 1 same star. I finally got it running and then my image aquisition froze on 1 sub even though it kept imaging and downloading new subs. A reboot later and it finally started working again. Not its finest night in a long time.

@Tech@ZWO @PMTeam@ZWO Starting from version 2.1.2 (11.01) installed on MacBook Air with M2 processor, in the sky atlas the zoom feature using the Mac trackpad or whit the mouse doesn’t work anymore.
I did report the bug on the App on March 4th (report id BT20240403180826A) but doesn't have any response from the teams.
Could you please verify or suggest a solution?
I already verify my trackpad and mouse configuration and they works well with other app like stellarium.
Same problem on the Skyatlas APP for the AM3 and the new 2.1.4 Asiair APP.

            Thanks in advance.

waterman Thank you for your feedback, we found the issues and fixed this, will release the new version as soon as possible.

Thank you for your feedback, i just forwarded this to our devs.
Currently, the ASIAIR app is mainly supported on Android and iOS, so I'm afraid it may need some time to look into and fix it.

I will pay attention to this and try to reproduce this problem.
Can you please submit a but report and note the problem you said when this issue appear next time? thanks.

Andrix Good news, we solved the problem during test.
You need to tap 'command+' and select 'Touch alternatives' on.

Tech@ZWO I will try to reproduce the problem but it may have been one time glitch.
What I would like to see in asiair would be a simple way to go from single star guiding to multistar if I accidentally touch the guide screen. If I were to touch the guiding screen accidentally it will initiate single star guiding and you cannot get asiair afterwards to stop using single star guiding until you actually quit asiair and restart the program.
This issue can happen because the guide graph at the bottom is overlayed over the guide screen and when I changed the aggressiveness %, the star behind the guide graph was maybe selected by my touch instead of the agression amount…. then when I restart guiding it thinks I am still wanting that underlying star as my intended single star to guide with. Please allow users to just use multistar or single star guiding…. A check box would work like PHD2 has.

Hi, I installed the latest version 2.1.4, after assembling everything, connecting the cameras and the EAF, I started with the autofocus after which I did the polar align. After 30 minutes for three attempts, I gave up and disassembled everything. It's a shame!!! It did the first step and then it was a succession of errors. It seems like a ridiculous situation to me, spending the whole evening to achieve nothing. Is it possible to have some answers and a solution? Thanks

How can you expect a solution to your problem. You did not post any details of your problem.
I have installed the firmware update as well and tonight the imaging run was flawless.

but have you read, 90 minutes to not be able to do the Polar align, if this is not a problem?!?!?! She kept trying again and again.
