ASIAIR Plus and Celestron AVX mount home position discrepancy

When hitting mount to home, my ASIAIR plus it drives the Celestron AVX Advanced to Polaris (weight down), but when I send the mount home from the hand controller it homes to the correct and desired (horizontal) position even though the mount was properly synced..How do I fix this I need the mount to home horizontally as it is correctly set in the hand controller of the mount

pablotwa1 Hello. Do you mean that after clicking Go Home on the ASIAIR APP, the mount is not placed in the correct position? After the problem occurred, did you shut down your ASIAIR? If not, please send us the error log, thank you.

The ASIAIR sets the Home position when it is turned on.

If your Home position is horizontal, rather than counterweights down, then make sure the mount is in the horizontal Home position before you turn on the ASIAIR.

However, this would mean you would have no way of having the mount go to the counterweights down home position since the ASIAIR only provides one Home position.

It has been requested many times for there to be a Home position and custom Park position.

Please add this.

What we need is a custom position for after we initialize the mount , otherwise it will not go to the Home position set in the mount..A Custom Home position, when is that coming?

Corsair Thank you, so when can we expect the change. I own 7 telescopes and I wanted to convert all of them to ASIAIR and buy ZWO cameras for all of them but because of this custom parking problem and the fact the custom object names cannot be added to special objects like NEOs and Exoplanets I will have to explore other solutions.
