Hello!
CAA angle limit still does not work good enough. The angles are very confusing and hard to set the correct limits. It seems the starting position is considered the maximum rotation and only -180 degrees is allowed from this position. This means starting position always has to be the extreme position. The supposed angle is whatever the angle was the last time, it makes no sense. Also if the system is turned on when the starting position isn't correct rotation, there is risk of wrong rotation and damage because the UI does not allow any adjustments for safety.
I would prefer:
-Starting position would be most clear to be zero degrees (physically "neutral position", in my case EFW pointing up)
-If you need to manually rotate CAA to get the setup into neutral position, we need an option to reset angle again to zero
-Able to set limits to from -90 degrees to +90 degrees from neutral OR the option to be able set the forbidden angles from the ASIAIR UI so these can be confirmed to fit the situation.
-All sky/image angles are converted into the allowed degrees with the least amount of rotation needed. The rotation needs to be saved into the picture header so we can take flats in the morning with the correct angle.
Only this way I will feel safe using the CAA without risk of the EFW hitting the mount when not physically being present during rotations. Incorrect angles could cause massive damage for the setup, if taking photos of targets at zenith with the wrong CAA rotation.
