10 days ago my laptop stopped seeing the S50 as a viewable drive and instead gives a message that there is an error with USB drive D (which is what it in now seeing the S50 as) and that the drive needs formatting. Obviously I don’t want this as I don’t want to lose my data. Instead I connected via WiFi and copied my flies onto the PC that way, however compared to USB C this is both slow and unreliable.
I have all updates on my devices and PC set to manual, so no updates were involved in this change. I tried the Seestar USB data lead and a different data lead both with the same result. I also tested using the data leads to copy files onto a USB SSD and both leads worked correctly.
I would really like to get USB connection working properly again, do you have any suggestions?
