I ran both mounts again last night with minimal issues. Most issues are getting correct location when on star party wifi vs cellular data which we find gives a better location on start up.
Polar alignment was harder for some reason on the AM5, and a neighbor experienced the same thing with his. We both found that if you got a successful alignment, the parked and did the PA routine again it was off quite a bit. Not very consistent. I use the 2600air while he used the 2600MC with ASI air plus.
My AP900 mount got aligned much easier and was still aligned after trying PA again. I sure wish the AM5 had finer threads for more accurate adjustments like the AP. I use a 2600MC Duo and Plus on this mount.
As for the Autoruns, they both did as expected. Meridian flips, focus, Plate solving, and parking did fine. Although on occasion the plate solve did not bring the star to center, was off a bit. but once I tried again it worked, and it did fine with keeping the object in same position during the autoruns.
I did have one complete power off with the AM5/2600air set up but we determined it was a bad pyramid power supply. After I switched to the ZWO power brick it worked fine.
Anyways it a shame there are much different experiences with these now.
