Support@Seestar Sounds great, but the Enhance Exposure settings for duration, auto enhance on GoTo and such is gone..................have the latest firmware, updated yesterday on S30 and today on S50.............those settings are nowhere to be found! Really frustrated with these scopes today!

Subject: Station mode working on S50 but impossible to configure on new S30 Pro with app 3.0.2

Hi,
I own both a Seestar S50 and a Seestar S30 Pro, and I’m using the same Seestar app (version 3.0.2).With the S50, I successfully configured Station mode (STA/bridge) on my home Wi‑Fi some time ago, before the current V3 of the app. The S50 still connects fine to my home network in Station mode, and I can control it while my phone remains connected to the Internet through this Wi‑Fi.However, with my new S30 Pro (firmware v6.70), I am unable to configure the same Station mode on the exact same network, using the same app (3.0.2). The option/UI that previously allowed me to set up Station mode on the S50 is no longer available or does not work in the same way for the S30 Pro, so I cannot reproduce the configuration.

To summarize:
Seestar S50: Station mode configured before app V3, still working perfectly on my home Wi‑Fi.
Seestar S30 Pro (firmware v6.70): impossible to configure Station mode on the same network with app 3.0.2, even though the S50 continues to work in Station mode with this app.

Could you please:
Confirm whether full Station mode configuration is currently supported for the S30 Pro in app 3.0.2.
Indicate if this is a known limitation/bug of the V3 app with multiple devices (S50 + S30 Pro).
Provide guidance or a timeline for when Station mode configuration for the S30 Pro will work in the same way as for the S50.

Jpok As a first guess, check the wifi frequency being used by your S50 and change the S30Pro to the same frequency (either 2.4 or 5 Ghz).

I received an S30Pro yesterday and the station mode would not connect to my router but the frequency was 5Ghz. I changed it to 2.4Ghz and station mode worked.

It works for se 30 and se 30 pro. latest firmware and app 2/21/26
you have to be on the seestar local wifi, not your home
that means no internet on the ios host device while connected
buti it works - tested mac and ipad ssp 7

hikescdnrckys Amen! And like even beginners need to be told it works better away from light pollution. And the thing about horizontal adjustment being helpful... That used to be the default. I can't see where to turn it on now. And why is the star icon using binoculars :-). If it wants to see stars, maybe a mirror?

Support@Seestar I have tried this and it is totally confusing.
It used to be more simple when it was in Advanced Features!
I enter Stargazing mode and that's it. I cannot see any menu for altering exposures and selecting FITS for each image. When I go to Stargazing there is no Me button!!!!

Why do you keep altering settings which people are used to? I have just bought the SS30 to add to my SS50. I am not at all happy with the software updates as they often add features or change features.

Hello all! I am brand new, I just received the S30 Pro last night, since this morning I have been trying to connect it to my android mobile phone, successful for a few seconds (using the S30 Pro Wi-Fi) the after few seconds on y phone I can only see "Connecting". After this, the phone keeps on "Connecting" for a while (few minutes) then the "Connect" icon appears back on my phone screen, I click on "Connect" but the only this that happens is that now I see "Connect to your Seestar" and below the Seestar Imago, "Connecting to the Bluetooth of Seestar". I check my phone Bluetooth to find the Seestar S30 Pro connection bluetooth; but it is not shown.

I installed the newest software this morning (yet I has the App installed previously when I order the item). I am getting frustrated with this initiating task, can anyone help e with a guideline on what and how to do this connection and not loose connection so fast?
