Here's another cosmetic bug in ASIAir 2.5, probably in the UI. During the AUTORUN sequence I pressed DETECT to show the FWHM of the stars in the frame.
Note that my scope is 254mm aperture, 3000mm focal length and f/12, and the camera has 3.76 micron pixels, and the image scale is 0.25 arcsec/pixel. FWHM values should range from 4 pixels (excellent seeing) to 12 (poor seeing). Under 4 is unlikely (see the3rd screenshot, autofocus).
Sometimes the numbers displayed are quite simply wrong (values under 2) This suggests it is "dectecting" hot pixels rather than actual stars, but at 1-2 pixels the conversion to arcsecs is incorrect, the values should be in the range 0.25-0.5 arcsec.
Sometimes it appears to show FWHM in pixels, correctly.
Sometimes it shows FWHM in arcseconds, correctly.
The first screenshot shows INCORRECT values.
The second screenshot shows the CORRECT values.
The third screenshot (autofocus) is included to show what this scope is capable of.
@ZWO, could you please be consistent in your use of units ?!?
